Why didn't I try?

I know you want to do something. Yes, within your heart, you want to do it. May be you’ve told about it to someone. May be not. But there is something, you want to do. Something, that you just “want” to do and aren’t “doing” it, yet.

Why? Because you’re afraid of failing.

You might want to start blogging, start a company or you just want to sky dive. It can be anything.

What I suggest to you is to go out and try doing it. At least once. (In case of sky diving, you can't try twice.) ;)

You want to build a company but there’s a huge competition and you’re afraid if you’ll be able to survive or not in the wild. Good. Being a little afraid always keeps you grounded. But how would you know if you’d survive or not? By trying.

You might be feeling that you may regret your decision of trying, but trust me, failing is not regretting. You know what regretting actually is? Regretting is, when you will be 87 years old, lying in bed and wondering, “Why didn’t I try?”

Regretting is, when you will be 87 years old, lying in bed and wondering, “Why didn’t I try?”

Go out and try. Now. When you still can.

You are never too young or never too old to try it out.
